Hosted as part of New York State Energy Research and Development Authority's (NYSERDA) Clean Energy Events, this hour long webinar will feature speaker Dr. Bruce Bailey, Executive in Residence of the Center of Excellence in Weather & Climate Analytics at University at Albany. Dr. Bailey will discuss considerations for designing offshore wind projects to withstand extreme weather events, such as hurricanes.

This information session will cover program details and eligibility requirements for the third round of funding from the New Jersey Manufacturing Voucher Program (MVP). Through phase 3 of the program, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) will provide grant funding for New Jersey manufacturers to purchase new equipment, covering up to a maximum award amount of $250,000.

Hosted by the New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) Wind Institute and New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), this 2-day offshore wind training bootcamp is for students and professionals with engineering or physical science backgrounds who are interested in starting or upskilling their career in the offshore wind industry. This bootcamp training will issue a certificate of completion from NJIT and the opportunity to claim 14 Professional Development Hours (PDH) after successful completion of the online examination (multiple-choice questions) at the end of the bootcamp.
